This day trip begins with a visit to the Calluna porcelain factory. There the participants learn interesting facts about the company in a short presentation. Afterwards, your group can look around the operating rooms, look over the shoulder of the porcelain painters decorating and painting the porcelain and go shopping.
Alternatively, visit the Designer Outlet Soltau and stroll in the open past small half-timbered houses and over 60 shops on the 13,500 sqm site.
Another option is to visit the "World of bees" exhibition. In Niederhaverbeck an exhibition is dedicated to the fascinating world of wild and honey bees and the beekeeping profession. Large-format photos, films and a large honeycomb wall inform and tell stories about bees, honey and wax.
For a surcharge of EUR 5.00 per person, we recommend that you visit the VERRÜCKTE HAUS in Bispingen for your morning program. Here everything is turned 180 degrees and nothing is "normal". A single-family house and its furnishings are upside down! Not only does this sound crazy, it's crazy too! On two floors you can practically walk through the house on the ceiling and look at the world from the "handstand perspective".
Another alternative for a surcharge of EUR 7.50 per person is to visit the Lüneburg Heath adventure labyrinth in Bispingen. Those who find the right way in the maze can playfully get to know the “Lüneburg Heath” region through exciting puzzles. On the way to the observation tower, there are action-packed adventure stations for balancing, hanging and jumping. The adventure labyrinth is barrier-free, all adventure routes can be bypassed or bypassed.
As an insider tip, we recommend a visit to Breidings Garten in Soltau for an additional charge of 1.00 EUR. Only a few hundred meters from the center of Soltau, a "large garden" extends over 10 hectares, which was laid out by the Röders family of industrialists from 1850 - and which, according to experts, is unique in its diversity. The complex includes moor areas such as ornamental ponds, orchards such as giant rhododendrons, an imposing garden villa and an artificial ruin.
Duration approx. 1-3 hours depending on the program
Afterwards, you and your group will return to the Heidehotel Bockelmann for lunch. The menu includes Heidschnuck specialties.
Duration approx. 1 hour
After lunch, it goes to the highest treetop path in northern Germany. The treetop path "Heide Himmel" offers nature lovers and everyone who wants to become one unique views and insights into the nature of the Lüneburg Heath. Along the barrier-free, 700-meter-long path through the pine and spruce forests on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park, visitors are offered many new impressions and the 40-meter-high observation tower not only provides a breathtaking view. The preoccupation with the topic of "nature" and its preservation at many stations will also widen your horizons to a certain extent.
Duration approx. 3 hours
The tour ends with a cozy coffee drink. Coffee and tea full, with a piece of buckwheat cake served.
Duration approx. 30 min.
