The "Ole Kerk" Bispingen was built in 1353 and is the oldest church in the old district of Soltau. The area was poor, so field stones and half-timbered buildings were used. Bricks were too expensive. The stone church, the old half-timbered rectory and the community center form an impressive ensemble with the new rectory and the old trees.
