The Heidschnuckenweg connects the most beautiful heathland landscapes. It leads through the entire Lüneburg Heath, from the Harburg Mountains in the north over the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve to the Südheide.
Not only about 30 heather areas, each of which is unique, line the path, but also fabulous cultural sites and idyllic heather villages. The 223 km long Heidschnuckenweg is divided into 13 daily stages between 7 km and 27 km. But you can also put together the daily stages individually depending on your fitness level and wanderlust.
The Heidschnuckenweg is the northernmost quality trail of the German Hiking Association and was voted the most beautiful hiking trail in Germany in 2014. The 6th day's stage between Bispingen and Soltau takes you directly along the Heidehotel Bockelmann.
