In the Lüneburg Heath around Bispingen you can go on wonderful hikes, long as well as short. Especially in the car-free nature reserve, a hiking tour is pure blessing. The Heidschnuckenweg leads in several stages from Harburg to Celle and directly past our Heidehotel. But the 14 circular hiking trails in the municipality of Bispingen also have their charms, as well as the barefoot hiking trail Egestorf, the Pietzmoor and the Machandel adventure trail.
The Heidschnuckenweg connects the most beautiful heathland landscapes. It leads through the entire Lüneburg Heath, from the Harburg Mountains in the north over the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve to the Südheide.
Just take off your shoes and socks and go barefoot for a short hike. This is possible in the Egestorf Barefoot Park - and you will be amazed. The 2.7 km long circular route runs over a wide variety of materials: stones, mulch, bark, grass, earth, sand, water, clay, pebbles, wood ... You are surrounded by a wide, calming landscape, it goes through the shady forest , then again over wide meadows. Going barefoot, even in temperatures beyond midsummer? Yes! Because that is not only healthy, strengthens the immune system, cares for the feet and strengthens the back, but is also a lot of fun in the Egestorf Barefoot Park. When walking barefoot, the feet warm up quickly.
In the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve near Bispingen-Niederhaverbeck there are two circular hiking trails for wheelchair users. The short tour is 1.5 km long, the long tour 3.5 km. They enable visitors with reduced mobility to experience the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve in all its facets. Both paths lead representative through the Haverbeeke valley and through all the special elements of this historical cultural landscape. The visitor can experience numerous sights and get to know the flora and fauna typical of the heath up close.
This path is aimed primarily at children who should learn to playfully understand the historical cultural landscape of the Lüneburg Heath over a length of 11 km. At the 23 different stations on topics such as "Biotope types in the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve", "Historical and current forms of use of the heath" or "Feeling and touching", the youngest should learn to understand the historical cultural landscape of the heath.
The Heide-Shuttle takes you to the most important places in the Lüneburg Heath. All buses are low-floor buses, a wheelchair can be transported in the bus. The buses can hold up to 14 bicycles on a trailer, so you can easily take your bicycle with you - free of charge, of course. In principle, there is no transport guarantee in the Heide-Shuttles, reservations are not possible. Dogs can be carried on the buses.
